Wendy’s story
The first restaurant was opened by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio, whi named it after his daughter Melinda Lou’s nickname “Wendy”.
In 1970, the first pick-up window was opened, and this was a revolutionary innovation in the service sector.
